Angled to prevent debris from riding up the track during reversal, these bars protect the fenders and fuel and hydraulic tanks from damage. This comprehensive feature includes a striker bar, storage box, drawbar, slab counterweight, fast fuel system, and transmission guard, all designed to keep material from packing between the track and fender during forward operation. These shoes reduce refuse packing within the track, allowing the sprocket to clear dirt and debris effectively, extending the service life of the track pins.
