The Caterpillar D9T WH IV Waste Handler is designed to enhance landfill performance with a variety of optional waste handling attachments tailored for optimal efficiency and durability. These blades increase the dozing capacity in trash and help prevent material from spilling over into the radiator, thereby maintaining optimal machine performance.
Angled to prevent debris from riding up the track during reversal, these bars protect the fenders and fuel and hydraulic tanks from damage. This comprehensive feature includes a striker bar, storage box, drawbar, slab counterweight, fast fuel system, and transmission guard, all designed to keep material from packing between the track and fender during forward operation. These shoes reduce refuse packing within the track, allowing the sprocket to clear dirt and debris effectively, extending the service life of the track pins.

With an additional centrifugal precleaner, this feature separates excess dust particles before they reach the cab air filter, extending the filter’s life. Protects the implement hydraulic oil tank, DEF tank (for serial prefix REX), and fuel tank, crucial in high debris landfill applications. Protects hydraulic lines from contact damage while maintaining hose flexibility.
Available in halogen, HID, or LED, these lights are mounted away from the debris environment to ensure excellent illumination and visibility under low light conditions. These features make the D9T WH IV Waste Handler an indispensable asset for landfill operations, offering enhanced performance, protection, and longevity.
